Am I right in assuming that Powerpoint 2000 does not offer a 'Track
Changes' function?

Is there an alternative way of tracking changes?

Herb,
You are quite right, there is no such feature in PPT 2000. Starting with
PPT2002 there is a feature Send for Review which allows you to
review a presentation which is sent back to you.
