Is there/What is the best way to track expenses in Project Pro/Project Server?

I am planning on exporting data out of Project into my financial package &
would love to suck any expenses (parking, food, lodging, etc) one might occur
on a project as well as the hours spent.

Thank you.

Regards,
Diane

Some of theose expenses can be entered as fixed costs while others like per
diem might better be tracked as material resources. If you drive to a site
and are there 3 days you might show a fixed cost of $120 ($20 parking plus
$100 gas) while there's a 3 day assignment of the per diem that is shown in
the resource sheet as a material resource with a $75 per day standard rate.
