View only specific tasks from from multiple plans in one separate plan

I have 3 plans Plan A, B and C. All plans consists of many tasks. I want to view only specific tasks from these plans and not all tasks as when you link the various plans into one plan

Is this possible and if so can someone help

Go to insert menu and select column.
Pick one of the flag fields (Flag1 for example)
In that field for the tasks you want to show change the value to Yes.
Now from the project menu select filtered for, then more filters and then
new filter.
Name it what you like.
In the criteria enter Flag1 equals yes (in the appropriate columns)
Then click apply.
All but the flagged tasks will be hidden.
