Why do I see blank images when pasting images directly from web?

When I copy and paste a image from a web page to my Microsoft Word 2003 I see
a blank image and not the image which appears on the web page(only the
borders appear). I don't know why this happens. As a result I have to first
save the image on my hard drive and then insert it in the document through
Insert>Image>From File.
I currently have MS Office 2003 installed with service pack 2. Please help
me. Your effort would be appreciated.

See if emptying your cache helps, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options,
delete files.
