2 languages in "Contacts" - Possibility ???

Hugo

Hi

Our office has recently hired externals working as us with Outlook (XP 2000) but we have now difficulties as part of us has and is creating contacts with fields in English and other in French

It is becoming especially difficult when we are using standard mail on Word, especially with titles (Miss or Monsieur, for ex.) and when inserting "Auto-text"

Is it a way to use two languages (I have seen there is a possibility called "Contact Index", but only available for Thai, Arabic, Japanese, etc.) or to have at least "list boxes" in both languages

Any advice or comment will be very appreciated

Regards
Hug

No, Outlook cannot display its selection features in more than one language. In most cases, you can type in the desired values.

Thanks for your reply.

Could you tell me where it is possible to find the list of values which are in "Auto-text" and if there is a way to add other possible choices (such as adding "Monsieur" in the English "Auto-text" including "Mister", "Madame", "Miss", etc.) ?

As well, thinking about importation of adresses in Word, for instance, is it possible to import adresses from "english outlook" in a "french word" or vice versa ?

Many thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Hugo
