My company has an old version of Project, and it
continually states there are 53 weeks in certain years.
eg: this year. Can anyone offer any advise?

There a couple of ways to get 53 weeks in 2004. Here's one of them:

The first week had 3 days and began Thurs. Jan 1.
The second week had 7 days and began Sun, Jan 4.
The fifty-third week has 6 days and begins Sun, Dec 26.

Steve,
I assume you have Project 4.x (i.e. Project 95). Apparently because
there is a glitch having to do with leap years, some years will show 53
work weeks. In the case of 2004, the first week starts 1/4/04 (Sunday)
and the 53rd week starts 1/2/05 (Sunday). You will note however that
each year will have at least 52 weeks (i.e. no weeks are "lost"). There
are no options settings that I am aware of that will correct the
anomoly. I guess the real question is, does this anomoly negatively
impact your Project plans and if so, how so? Depending on the impact,
there are likely workarounds.

Reg,
ISO standard? Something is awash if an ISO standard says that 1/2/05 is
the 53rd week of 2004!
