I'm just starting to use Groove & have a pretty basic question. When I send
someone an invitation to a workspace, they get an email that says if they
don't already have Groove, they should click on a link to download the free
trial version of Groove. Does this mean that when the trial version runs
out they will no longer have access to the workspace? Or, to put the
question differently: do all participants have to (at some point in time)
purchase a Groove license?

Groove is a paid-for product so at some point your colleagues are going
to need to fork out, probably at 60 days if the restrictions shown at
http://www.groove.net/index.cfm?pagename=VO_Compare are still correct.

We've found that just buying the licenses and administering them
ourselves has been the least amount of hassle, plus it allows us to
revoke licenses when one project ends and re-use them for the next project.

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I have purchased a couple
professional licenses, but thought that participants could participate for
free as long as I, the manager, had a legal license. I now understand
that's not the case & will need to re-think using Grove as extensively as I
intended.
