Assuming that the read only attribute is not set for the .mdb file
(right-click the file in Windows Explorer and choose Properties to examine),
the next thing to check is that full control is set for all users, for the
folder that the .mdb file is in. This means that all users who need to add or
change data must have RWCD privleges for the folder that the database is

Having exported a Access 2000 db to another computer - cannot convert it from
