access 2003 - cant select fields with query/form wizards

hi

i've just instaled office 2003 and i'm having problems with access. i
cant seem to be able to select fields when using a wizard for queries
and forms.

when i say cant select, nothing comes up on screen for me to select
even though i have fields created in my tables.

hope someone can help.
