AOL mail not sending....

When trying to send mail under my AOL account in Outlook 2003, I get a
reported error saying

"Task imap.aol.com -sending'reported error (0x800ccc78) :'unable to send the
message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The
server responded: 556 CLIENT AUTHENTICATION REQUIRED. USE ESMTP EHLO AND
AUTH.'

Now what does this mean?

It means you have to have authentication turned on.
