Archiving old e-mails

Can you move the entire contents of Outlook to a back-up server to work on at
a later date? I would like to clean up my Outlook without deleting everything.

Bad move, export or import
Either Archive to your local PC - not network - using whatever settings you
choose within the Archive options.
Or create a new data file & designate this the default msg store.
