Auto-completion of email addresses when creating Outlook message

L

Larchbum

It seems that I have lost some of the addresses that formerly were
auto-completed when I start typing an address in Outlook. These addresses
were never stored in an address book but rather, Outlook was "smart enough"
to recognize these as addresses that I received or sent messages to/from in
the past. I don't understand why Outlook would suddenly "forget" some of
these addresses as I have gotten somewhat dependent on this. Help!

That usually means your profile has become corrupt and lost its connection
to the autocompletion cache. The only way to restore the connection is to
create a new profile. After you do, you will have a new (empty)
autocompletion file with an NK2 extension. Find your old NK2 file and rename
it to match the new one, them replace the new one with it.
