auto populate contacts from email?

a while back I was working with office2003 and found myself watching as the
application pulled all of the addresses from the persons inbox and created
Contacts for them.

I don't remember what I did and wonder if anyone recognizes this as a feature?

Hi,

You can add contacts one at a time from received mail by right-clicking on the senders name, then choosing "Add to Outlook Contacts". This will bring up the contact form and
autopopulate as much of the information as it can for you.

Outlook doesn't contain this ability natively.

Thanks for the answer, Unfortunately I have over a thousand address. Right
clicking each will take awhile.

I believe you know what you are talking about, but I have to say, I do
remember this did indeed happen. I wasn't making it up. The contacts folder
seemingly grabbed the address from every email in the users box and created a
contact for each. I don't know what I did, I believe I might have initiated
the Business Contact manager application somehow. I could kick myself for not
paying more attention to the cause as now this has become very important to
me.

thanks for the reply!
