I have an archiving db that i'd like to "purge" istself every week.
i have a "hidden form" that runs on startup that will delete entries older
than say 2 months.
what i'm wondering is that Access 2003 can have a max size of about 2gigs,
and i want to prevent that from happening (if it isn't cleaned out enough)
so i'm wondering if there's a nice way to have it open close automatically
every say sunday night wor w/e.
i'm thinking of having my starting "hidden archive form" become non hidden,
and have a button that says something like don't close for when teh Archive
DB needs to be viewd. otherwise it auto closes.
and i was thikning of using Windows schedueler to make that DB start every
sunday at a certain time.
any thoughts/suggestions?
thanks
