Backup outlook without closing

I would like to make a backup copy of my PST file without closing Outlook.
I realise there is a Microsoft patch that does this - but you do need to
close Outlook.

The only thing that will do this is XPs own backup program which is not very
friendly if you want to automate the program - there are too many prompts.
But it will do shadow copy.

Is there another free utility out there that will do shadow copies?

I use COBIAN BACKUP as it will do Incremental Compressed backups without
creating multiple copies of the same files. The only thing it is missing is
the ability to backup Outlook.pst when Outlook is running.

Outlook's data file cannot be backed up while Outlook is open. If you try,
the data file will, more than likely, become corrupted.
