black shadow on the page

can I remove the black shadow on the page it can can get in the way when Im
designing a small advert with a frame. Sorry if its a stupid question.

The shadow is out of the printing area, create the small advert in the scratch
area or on another page, move it into position.

please elaborate. And why, oh *why* do people think we can *guess* what
version they're running?!

I don't think it can be turned off. I'd suggest working in another area of
the screen. I know that's not a perfect solution but sometimes you just have
to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

It's funny how some things cause problems. I've been a heavy user of
Publisher since Version 1.0 in 1992. I never noticed that 'shadow' until I
read this thread.

I know how you feel. except i noticed it 5 minutes before i read this thread. but now that i see it i cant stand it. i want it GONE! ><
