Calendar View Alternative?

My director saw a calendar view and wanted me to apply it to our
schedules.
He's looking for a view most commont to people so there is little
confusion.
Calendar view is not going to work however because we just have too
many tasks happening in a single day.

Can anyone suggest an alternative. So for Gantt is the best I can
find.

Depending on which version of Microsoft Project you are using, have you
tried the Network Diagram or PERT Chart view? This view tends to give the
"big picture" of what is going on in the project, which tasks are
accomplished before other tasks, which tasks are on the Critical Path, etc.

My big picture is between 60 and 70 pages just as a Gantt and without
a footer.
Now granted I'm only going to be printing out a one month picture.
I think definitly that a Pert is the wong idea. Thanks though for
your comment. That's what makes the message board work so well.
