Cannot perform the requested opertaion. etc Contact on my tasks lose links daily

Caron Mooney

I have seen numerous messages about how to reconnect contacts to tasks if an
import of data or a migration has taken place.
I am using a public folder for my contacts and my own local tasks folder. I
add a new task, link a contact and save it. On the same day (meaning whilst
Outlook remains open), the contact is there. Otherwise every single time I
try to open the contact from the task I get the horrible message. If I
re-link the contact, it is there for that session.
Please can someone help? Its driving me nuts!
Thanks in anticipation
Caron
