Cannot send internal email

My problem is a bit more unique - I am able to send email to outside sources,
but unable to send or receive from anyone on the local network. The only
error I've received is a delayed send notification: "THIS IS A WARNING
MESSAGE. YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR EMAIL. DELIVERY TO THE FOLLOWING
RECIPIENTS HAS BEEN DELAYED." And then I talk to the staff and find that
they have not received any of the emails I have sent. I have also discovered
that if my email is included in an internal distribution list, I'm not
receiving that email; but if the email is sent directly to me (no
distribution list), I get it. HELP! I'm terribly frustrated and need to be
able to communicate with my people.
