I've read all the messages with respect to a folder not closing because of a
missing object. I've deleted the file and created a new one. I'm assuming it
had to be the same name because Outlook kept asking for the same name and
directory location.
I've run scanpst.exe that shows no errors for the .pst. I've even
completely removed Outlook and reinstalled it. In spite of all of this, the
darn folder still shows up in the folder list and won't close.
I'm curious why the folder reappears after I've removed and reinstalled
Outlook 2000. [yes, I have backups of the outlook.pst folder.] The
reinstalled outlook seems to kept finding something that loads the folder
back into the list.
Are there any suggestions? Thanks
