I'm all of a sudden getting this message when I try and go into design mode
from the view menu. Any ideas how to fix this? I already tried to uninstall
and reinstall office 2000 but that didn't work. Help!!!

As I recall, this comes from a custom toolbar imported from one of
Stephen Lebans' projects. If you search Google Groups
(http://groups.google.com) in the microsoft.public.access.* hierarchy
for "fDesign", you'll find many messages about this and how to fix it.
I think the basic fix is to reset your toolbars to the default.

I fixed the problem. Do you think I should remove this project from my
database or will it not happen again?

I don't know, because I don't know any of the details of this particular
issue, and I don't know what the project in question is being used for
anyway. I'm inclined to think you're okay now, but I suggest you google
the newsgroups for "fDesign" and read some of the threads for more
information.

You should be fine now I think.
I had the same problem in the past, but after resetting the menu
bars/toolbars everything was fine since.

Thanks for jumping in, Jeff. The voice of experience is better than the
voice of conjecture.
