Commas Converted To Underscores In InfoPath 2007 When Submitting ToSharePoint Form Library

We have an InfoPath 2003 and SharePoint forms solutions that allows
users to fill out an InfoPath form and submit it to a SharePoint form
library. The key/title of the forms is an open text field where the
user's can enter any unique text that they want to call the form (e.g.
gill, jonathan will become gill, jonathan.xml when submitted).

Usually this form title takes the form of someone's name (in last
name, first name format) with a short description due to the nature of
the content.

This was fine and dandy I guess until users started converting to
InfoPath 2007. When a user opens an existing form or creates a new
one with InfoPath 2007 and submits it to the form library it converts
all commas in the field to underscores (je.g. gill_ jonathan.xml) even
when the user does not make this change.

One of the problems is that the users will at no point in time all be
on InfoPath 2003 or InfoPath 2007 and this "feature" creates duplicate
entries in our form library (e.g. gill, jonathan.xml and gill_
jonathan.xml) not at the user's request.

Is there any way to prevent commas being replaced by underscores in
this scenario in InfoPath 2007?

Thanks,
