contact names

When you go to write an email and you click 'to' then you click 'contacts' my
contacts show up with 'name' at the top and the people's names are listed
first name then last name. can you change that to last name first then the
first name? how do you change what is displayed on that.

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
