Convert ost to pst

Hi,
Im having a huge problem here. A major one.

I reconfigured my outlook 2003 to the exchange server 2003 and wanted to
load my .pst, but I found it as .ost and was unable to load as an outlook
data file. I used many demo applications used for conversion but none of them
worked out. What is the easiest way to convert a .ost to .pst file?
I really need to know this to retrieve almost 6GB important mails. Or is
there any service to do so.
Help!!

Thanks.

An OST is just a reflection of your mailbox in the Exchange Server, so, as
long as no one deleted your mailbox while you were reconfiguring Outlook,
all your mail should still be there. Is it not? Did someone delete your
mailbox? Are you sure you're connecting to the correct mailbox? Do you
see the mail in OWA? When was the Exchange Server last backed up?

Hi F.H. Muffman,

Thanks for your reply.
Im confirmed that no one deleted my mailbox coz it is a huge one and im the
one who reconfigure my email. I did delete my exchange account and
reconfigure the exchange account back into my microsoft outlook where this
problem occurs. (pst change to ost)
I tried to change my Offline Folder File Settings to point to the ost file
but this message appears "File access is denied. You do not have the
permission required to access the file.". This outlook setting is under my
account, why i hav no permission to access the file.

Wondering..

Forget about the old OST for a moment. If you connect to the Exchange
server, either through Outlook or through OWA, do you see your mail?
