convert to eps format

I have problems converting the Visio drawings to 'eps' format. They look
pretty ugly - the round shapes appear jagged, the dashed lines are thicker
and ugly, etc. Is there a way to avoid that? I tried almost all possible
convert options and the result was just the same...
(I use MS Visio Professional 2002.)
Pealse help!

I simply save the visio file as .eps from Visio. I read all the help I could
find but there was no other way. And then when I open the eps file in
ghostscript or other program it looks bad. When I use the same way to
convert to jpeg, for example, it works nicely but I need eps :-(

Not sure why you're having problems with Visio's export, but there is
another way to get postscript out: just use the Microsoft Imagesetter
printer driver. I've run it from Visio and the results have been perfect.
You can use Add Printer to load the driver.

since eps is primarily a printer format, have you considered just printing the
document to your postscript printer and have the print driver set for 'file'? I
often use this to find which printers work well with visio since it is very much
a printer driver issue.

1, install a virtual printer
Control Panel -> Printers -> Add printer
The type of printer is not important, anyone support PostScript is ok
(with PS tag)
2, modify the printer's properties
Properties -> General -> Printing Preferences -> Advanced -> PostScript
Options -> PostScript Output Options -> "Encapsulated PostScript (EPS)"
3, print the visio drawing to file whenever you want
4, enjoy it :)
