Converting A03 split database to A07

We have upgraded to A07 [not sure why] A03 was fine. I am feeling a bit
uneasy converting to 07. Our A03 tables are split, we have 3 users, will
need 3 more for viewing read only reports.
Is there anyone out there that has converted from A03 with split tables to
A07? If so, your experience and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Laurie,

I understand your concern, but why not just open the db in 2007 and work in
compatibility mode for a while to see how it goes and when it doesn't crack
anything then convert it to 2007. DB's i've opened and converted went fine.
Most of the time it was my own shortcomings of finding everything in 2007
that made it hard. But after a while you'll get used to it believe me ;-)

Maurice,
Yes, it has been frustrating not knowing where to find things. I am happy
to report that the database opens just fine but my control buttons no longer
work in my forms . I was also in the middle of designing a switchboard in A03
and it appears that A07 wiped out my switchboard menu as well. Not sure if
I have to start over yet, need to do some more research.
We also need the security/permissions for users and what I have read so far
is that A07 removes all existing security features from A03.
So with all this happening before the conversion, I wasn't sure if there was
going to be more surprises once I converted.
Thanks for your help.

Maurice,
Any suggestions on what to do with the controls not working in my MS03 forms
since I opened them in MS07?
