O
Ondine
I have not come across this before although another person posted a similar
problem last week: my client's back-end (Access 2000) database will not open:
it just 'fails silently', no error messages - you just have a blank Access
screen, no project opens either.
It's not possible to import the tables to a new database - nothing happens.
However, the front end, already linked to this database, is working
perfectly. In other words, you can access the data via the front end but
can't open the back-end db.
In my clients particular case the problem is that the data is replicated and
they want to synchronise, which they can't do now. I can re-create their
data via the front end but will then not be able to sync.
Has anyone else come across this? I would be grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks
Ondine.
