where do emails deleted from the the deleted emails folder go?
Nowhere. There are still in the .pst file. They got their status
changed to "deleted" (items in the Deleted Items folder have NOT been
deleted; that's just a holding folder). Outlook will not display
items with deleted status. Only until you or Outlook compacts the
message store will the delete-marked items get physically purged from
the .pst file.
