Divide error Pub 97

Dennis

When I open my Publisher 97 (using Win 98) the default page opens with a
solid line at 0 with the two blue guide lines close by. It's as if the top
and bottom of the page have both been set to zero. I can design on a new
page or use some templates but the system crashes with the error message
"MSPUB.exe has caused a divide error" I have tried to uninstall, reinstall,
clear registry, etc, there does not appear to be a "find and fix' module as
per later versions. Any suggestions?

Open Publisher in safe mode, if your error goes away you probably have a faulty
driver, usually it will be the printer.
