Edit Replace Symbols

No response received on last post. Maybe worded wrong, I don't know but if
I type the circumflexes into the Edir Replce dialogue, they get treated as
some sort of wild card. I need to find and replcde the actual occuremces of
the circumflexes.

Deparate for some sort of help...

I want to do a global change of a string surrounded by circumflexes. For
example:

^400^ to ^401^

The word FindReplace dialogue seems to attach special meanings to
circumflexes. How do I override this behaviour so that I can carry out my
changes?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hello

I think a have a solution for your problem:

you have to type TWO circumflexes instead of only one in the FindReplace
dialog:

^^400^^ recae by ^^401^^

Success!!
