Outlook Email User Name problem

Here is one I can't seem to get an answer on. I am using outlook to set up
email, my user name has to be typed as follows: Frank X. Smith. I do this,
but when I
click to next it changes my name to FrankX.Smith and elimniates the spaces
between my name. I go back put in th e spaces it takes them away. I doulbe
space and it takes it away. My email system will only allow me to sign in if
there ae spaces between first name , midlle intital and last name. ANy
hints? whaty can do?
