Are you using a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and try again.

I am using Norton Antivirus
I don't want to disable the scanning of emails, and I beleive that I tried
that once and it stilll held up my emails.

"I don't want to disable the scanning of emails"
Don't worry, your on access scanner and default Outlook security settings
are sufficient. Integrating the virus scanner with Outlook doesn't add an
extra level of security.

If you want to have it enabled anyway only disable it for testing purposes.

Ok
I will try in a little bit when I send some more batches of emails out.
I need to get on the treadmill :)
Disabling meaning, just from scanning outgoing AND incoming, or just outgoing?
Thanks again.

The entire integration so that Norton doesn't have any connection anymore
with Outlook. See the documentation of your virus scanner on how to do that
(I believe you can also do it by uninstalling that specific component).
