Exporting XML from Project

I am currently evaluating a couple of companion products to MS Project. In
one case it seems the tool can only read the project schedule if it is first
exported in XML. Is there a standard facility in Project 2000 to output a
schedule in XML format ?

Hi,

Not in 2000, but 2002 onwards have a save as xml option. Xml has replaced
the mpx file as the text export format.
