Flickering refresh every 10 sec.

Every 10 seconds, the message window in Outlook Express flickers as if it's
refreshing itself. It doesn't matter which folder I'm in - Inbox, Deleted,
etc. I've had some other intermittant strange things happen, like a
minimized message that pops up on its own, and adding a new contact which
appears in the address book but not in the list of contacts in the lower left
of the screen.

But the flicker is driving me nuts. Every 10 seconds. This just started
the other day.

Any idea as to what's wrong? Or do I just reinstall Outlook Express?

I'm using XP Pro on a 400Mhz PC. For protection I'm running Norton
AntiVirus, Zone Labs Security ZoneAlarm, the SBC Yahoo! pop up blocker,
SpywareBlaster, and WinPatrol. I've done sweeps with Ad aware 6, SBC Yahoo!
Anti-Spy, and Spybot Search & Destroy, and deleted the found ads, tracking
cookies, etc. but it didn't help.
