fxsext32.dll

Bob

As others have written, I am getting the error message "The add-in
"C:\WINDOWS\System32\fxsext32.dll could not be
installed or loaded" Have tried the suggested solution of using Detect and
Repair but still get the error. I am running Outlook 2003 under Vista Home
Primium.

I have reviewed all of the replies to this problem and I don't see a
solution. I have Outlook 2003, I do not have a trust center item under tools
and I have tried on several occasions to use the repair function under
Outlook. I have never installed any add ins, but since Vista Home Premium has
removed the fax capability I am try ing snappy fax.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Since you tried "all' the solutions, what happened when you renamed
extend.dat? That's the only one I've seen that works.

Boy, do you have an attitude! Everything I have read from you on other
questions comes with an edge. I an not an MVP and I don't understand how to
rename a dll. I'm a user not a tech guy. Can you provide some help assuming
that I/we are not super technical?

Back up. Read your first post.
When you state "I have reviewed all of the replies to this problem and I
don't see a solution," how are we supposed to know which ones you actually
found, which ones you actually tried, and what happened? That is the minimum
information you should have provided when asking for help in a newsgroup.
That has nothing to do with being technical. It just takes common sense to
know that others in here cannot read minds and expecting them to try just
wastes their time.
Suggest doing a more thorough search. I turned this one up in 5 seconds:
http://groups.google.com/group/micr...0883888f4?lnk=gst&q=fxsext32#1a5aa1a0883888f4
I would try that one. If it's not clear to you what to do, post back with
your question. Note that no mention is made here of "renaming a dll" which
you referred to in your reply.
