Getting the sender address?

Is there any way to get the email address of the sender in the
Application_ItemSend method? And besides adjusting the security level, what
can I do to prevent Outlook from prompting me that the macros I'm running is
insecure?

No. The sender is available only after the message arrives in the Sent Items folder.

You can digitally sign your macros and set macro security to High. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/vb.htm#selfcert

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for general Outlook programming issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba
