Global MPT ? Repair from Cd no good

I just instaled Project I get an error that project could not open MPT.
Suggets repair from Cd or deleting the file. Nothing works.

Perhaps you installed Project without uninstalling a previous version?

Uninstall all versions of Project. then, reinstall Project.
