Groove 2K7 Beta2 - SharePoint files tool question

Within Groove 2K7 Beta2 - it appears that the SharePoint files tool can only
communicate with Windows SharePoint Services V3 ?
Message received during connection (via Network Places) - 'You are trying to
connect to an unsupported server. This tool requires Windows SharePoint
Services V3 to be installed on the server'.
