Hiding Task ID

L

Lee Brown

Is it possible to hide the ID column when printing or copying and
pasting a Gantt Chart (or any other task chart for that matter)? I'm
trying to output a very simple chart with Task Name and Schedule only
to Word or PowerPoint. So far I can get rid of everything but the ID
column. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Lee Brown

Hi :)

It certainly is :)

Goto View/table/more tables/new

Name your new table "Print Out"
Unlock first column,
show in menu
Define fields you wish.. in your case Task name & schedual
and press ok/apply

You now have a table that you can choose for your print
outs :)

Or--you could just right click on the column heading and then select "hide
column".

None of these options work for Visio. When I reduce the width to zero, the numbers overlap with my Task descriptions. 'Hide column' is not possible - error message: This shape cannot be removed from Gantt Chart. And there is no 'Table' menu within the 'View' menu.
Any solutions that actually work out there?
