First, create a custom menu bar, then select the Tools -> Startup menu to
open the Startup dialog window. Select the custom menu bar name in the "Menu
bar:" combo box, then select the "OK" button to save the change. The
built-in menu bar has been replaced by your custom menu bar.
If you'd rather not have any menu bar showing, then right click on the menu
bar and select Customize... on the pop-up menu to open the Customize dialog
window. Select the "Toolbars" tab and scroll down to the name of your custom
menu bar. Uncheck the name of your custom menu bar, then select the "Close"
button to save the change.
All menu bars are now hidden and will continue to be hidden, even if you
close, then reopen the database.
