hotmail times out with Outlook, but didn't with OE

Hi,

I have recenlty moved to Outlook from OE and find that
accessing Hotmail has now become a problem. Unlike for
OE there are constant time outs (I don't have a speedy
connection) even when I'm trying to view a larger file in
the preview pane.

Also it seems that everytime I access Hotmail via Outlook
it has to reaccess the message, unlike OE which seemed to
download the message and then allowed me to access it
later on without delays.

Any comments/suggestions?
