how can I print edge to edge when making postcards in publisher?

I made my Postcards 4 per page portrait and the cards appear off center in
the print preview and parts are cut off and there is a white area on all 4
sides.

I need to print edge to edge how can I adjust the margins?

Can your printer print borderless? Your printer has margin limitations, an
unprintable area. Generally in portrait your largest margin will be on the
bottom. Look at your documentation.

My printer is an HP 6540 with borderless capacity. Its printable area is
10.98" x 8.48". Several other applications that I run are able to print to
these margins. Only Publisher overrides my borderless settings. When I select
the Avery 8387 Postcard Template from the Publisher page setup, Publisher
forces a bottom margin of 1/2". This wastes two of the four postcards that
Avery's 8387 paper stock is perforated to provide.

Can this be corrected?

Will your printer print full bleed that size? My HP is full bleed - up to a
certain size.

My printer is full-bleed. A previous MVP suggested saving the publisher document as a pdf. The pdf will print borderless, but unfortunately the print quality is less than typical Publisher quality.

You can fool around with the overspray settings in the advanced menu.
If I want to print borderless, I save the publication as a high resolution
picture and print from HP's software.
