How can I save messages on more than one computer?

Hello!

I have 3 computers that I use for communications, and I use AOL as my mail
service with Outlook. I've got a desktop at home, a desktop at work, and a
laptop.

When I used to use AOL mail through the AOL program, I could read a message,
send a reply, and have copies of both messages on all machines. The AOL
program would keep the messages I had read in a folder called "Old" for about
a month, and the messages that I had sent in a folder called "Sent" for about
the same time period. This was useful because I could go back and forth from
work and answer emails from home and reference older messages as needed.

Now, when I read a message, say at work, the message is stored on my
computer at work, but it is gone and I can't access it if I try to read it at
home. Also, I do not have a copy of the messages that I have sent from my
computer at work on my home computer (and vice-versa).

I would like to have a situation where, no matter what computer I am using,
I would have the same copies of everything, sent and receieved, on each
computer. Is there anyway to do this?

Thanks, and sorry about the novel-length message,

Brad in Dallas

What kind of mail account options does AOL provide to non-AOL clients? If
only POP3, then there is nothing you can do. If they offer IMAP as well,
then you could consider switching to that account type instead.

Thanks Robert; I believe that they do offer IMAP. Are you saying that
switching to that mode will eliminate this problem? Thanks again; Brad in
