How can I see the number of email's coming in Outlook 2003?

I want to be able to see that there are 1 of 20 coming in or whatever number.
Now it only shows the number of tasks being completed and the % completed.
Any idea how to show the number of emails coming in?

I don't believe OL 2003 displays that information.
