How do I attach a dot right after an inserted object in Word?

O

Orescb

When I insert an object (actually an equation from Mathtype) in Word at the
end of a line and there is no space for writing more, not even a dot, the
closing dot (or comma) of the sentence is written in the following line. I
would like to join the object and the dot so a dot can never stand alone at
the beginning of a line, which is my ultimate goal.
I am using Word 2007 Beta but a reply working for Word 2003 would also be
appreciated.

Thank you for helping.
