How do I begin a mailing list?

I have recently left my home town and would like to start up a mailing list
to let all my loved ones know what's going on, instead of continually typing
emails to everyone. How do I start up a mailing list or is their any
alternatives???

Create a Distribution List containing all the applicable addresses.

Use this DL when create the message.
