I am using office 2000 and windows XP professional on my current computer on
a network. Outlook does not fully close on my current computer; it leaves up
the message "please wait while outlook exits". I cannot get rid of this any
way except to 1) either log off or 2) go to task manager and close outlook,
which shows as still running.
I also occasionally log in on a computer that has outlook 2003 and Windows
2000. I do not get this message when I am on this computer. So XP may be a
factor.
