How do I install a reader pane in Outlook 2002?

I only seem to have a preview pane that appears below my inbox. How do I get
a reader pane, with previews shown to the right of the inbox? Is this
feature not available for Outlook 2002?

No, sorry, just OL2003 (and presumably, future versions as well).
