How do I know I sent an attachment with my e-mail?

Every time I send an e-mail with attachments and print my e-mail, the
attachments which I can see are listed do not print and I need to confirm
that they were sent. M

Which version of Outlook do you use?

Hi Tammy,

I was having the same problem and if you are using Outlook 2003 I found a
way to print the email with the attachment and the solution was posted in the
discussion group. It says to open the email you sent, go to Edit, Edit
Message (it will put the cursor in the body of your message). Go to Format
and select Plain Text and send your email to print, you will see the icon for
the attachment. Hope it helps.

Look in your Sent items folder. See the paper clip next to the message?
That's the attachment. Why print them out?

I figured out how to do what you described, but is there a way to set this as
a default, i have as a default plaint text, whenever i create a new email,
however, whenever i reply to an email or forward one i must do it manually
each time to print the attachment icon.

thanks

if you upgrade to sr1, the attachments should be included in the printout.
