How do I load Access97 on a machine running Office XP

I want to run an access97 database (which must remain in access 97) on a
machine running Office XP. I have a copy of Office 97 and wondered if I could
load the access element into a different folder. Is this feasible and what
would the procedure be?

No problem at all.

When you're installing, select Custom Installation (or something similar to
that: I don't remember the exact wording). Select only Access, and select a
different folder for it.

You'll probably get a message that you don't have a license when you try to
launch Access 97. It's an annoying bug that's usually caused by, of all
things, a font. See http://support.microsoft.com/?id=141373 for details, and
the fix.

Yep, just install to a different folder. I have four versions of Access on
my PC. You might get the "No license..." error afterwards, but if you
search on MS web site you should find the fix for that.
